A look at the tentative starting lineups and inactives (to be updated an hour before tipoff), as well as referees and a pregame note of note for Friday’s 7 p.m. game between the Heat and Pistons at Little Caesars Arena (TV: Fox Sports Sun. Center: Hassan Whiteside

Power forward: James Johnson

Small forward: Justise Winslow

Shooting guard: Rodney McGruder

Point guard: Josh Richardson

Inactive: Goran Dragic. (Duncan Robinson, Yante Maten on two-way contracts.)

Coach: Erik Spoelstra.

DETROIT PISTONS (19-24)

Center: Andre Drummond

Power forward: Blake Griffin

Small forward: Reggie Bullock

Shooting guard: Bruce Brown

Point guard: Reggie Jackson

Inactive: Henry Ellenson, Zaza Pachulia. (Kalin Lucas, Isaiah Whitehead on two-way contracts.)

Coach: Dwane Casey.

Referees: John Goble (#30), Matt Boland (#18), Mousa Dagher (#57).

Uniforms: Heat in white “Association” uniform; Pistons in gray “City” uniform.

Pregame note of note: Forward Blake Griffin is the first Piston to record multiple 40-point games in the same season since Jerry Stackhouse had eight such games in 2000-01. Griffin scored a career-high 50 points vs. Philadelphia on Nov. 3 and 44 at the Clippers on Jan. 12. Griffin also is the first Pistons player to record a 50-point game and a 40-point game in the same season since Stackhouse in 2000-01.
